Liv Gagne’s presentation would truly alter anyone’s opinion of art. Liv had demonstrated throughout her essay how art in hospitals can help patients escape their all consuming reality. I believe this platform allowed Liv to convey all the points that she had wanted to make. Which otherwise may not have been as powerful if her platform was a podcast or a video. I never truly realized how powerful art was or how much art can be an escape to others, but Liv’s presentation had opened my eyes as well as my heart to the power which art has on people.
Similar to Liv’s message, Aaron and Stephen’s project conveyed how art can depict the power behind relationships and bonds rather than being powerful itself. Aaron and Stephen showed how such a simple form of art, a song, can ignite emotions in someone. They depicted this through an essay, which truly captured what they wanted to portray that a podcast may not have been able to.
