Prepare for Transition

While entering this final semester of nursing school there is both excitement and anxiety. I am excited to learn new skills, begin my career, and find what I am passionate about in the world of nursing. I cannot wait to celebrate my accomplishments with my family and friends, to see where our next chapters begin. When it comes to anxiety, I am most anxious about taking the NCLEX-RN however, with the assistance of a plan I believe I will be well prepared for the licensure exam. Each week for 6 weeks, I will spend 5 days studying for 6 hours: consisting of 4 hours of test-taking and 2 hours of review. From the ATI Nurse Logic 2.0 Modules, we learned how to utilize critical judgment via identification, analysis, and evaluation, as well as professionalism, evidence-based practice, interdisciplinary collaboration, and safety. These modules will help provide important information to rationalize and answer questions on the NCLEX-RN as well as to bring it forward into practice.
