ATI Preparation for Licensure ( ATI OB CAT)

I had this belief that I was beginning to perform well even with distractions however, I now recognize that was ignorant of me to believe. I had far too many distractions and interruptions during this Adaptative CAT exam and thus, I was not devoting my full intention to this. This reminds me of the time someone once told me that multitasking is an illusion, that you divert your attention from one task to another, and that no one can truly multitask perfectly. This adaptative cat required my full attention however, with the distractions I found difficulty truly being able to give this my full attention.

In the future, I will remember this and devote an area to which I know I will have no distractions or interruptions. I was proud that I had taken breaks however, I recognize this CAT I had changed my answers the most. I would talk myself out of my answers and select a new answer. As we have always been told, “if we are not certain do not change your answer”. However, I neglected this advice and had done so regardless, and changed my correct answer to an incorrect answer. From this, I am able to recognize that while preparing for the NCLEX I will require a quiet environment, with few distractions, and remember to not change my answer.
